Dear La Ballona Families,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! Whether you are returning to La Ballona or joining our school community for the first time, we are so excited to welcome you and your family.
To help you prepare for the start of school, we've included several resources below. Please read all of this information before calling the school so that our Office Team can devote their time to preparing for the school year:

- Please join us in welcoming Jazmin Rosales, our new Assistant Principal. Fluida en español and is looking forward to connecting with our families.
- Welcome to our newest staff members: Samantha Scheirman (Kindergarten English), Susan Varga (Special Education), Viviana Zetina Hernandez (TK Dual Immersion), Kim Beard (TK Instructional Assistant), and Antonio Sebastian (Custodian). Also, Mokie Palomino has joined our 4th grade team!
- We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Abby Klein, Sandra Haro, Angelica Tipon, Ian Alonso, Carlos Castillo, Cheryl Charney, Kathy Ishibashi, Aneta Nobis, Rian Hidalgo and Yasmin Taube for their contributions to the La Ballona community. As they begin new chapters, we wish each of them all the very best.
